1. Virginia Reed trying out her mom, Emma Erikson's 1914 era swimsuit in front of the camp (Elaine still has the swimsuit!).

3,4. Axel and Emma Erikson bought the land September 27, 1932 from R. J. and Marion Miller. The camp was completed in 1937, built by Axel with the help of neighbor, Oskar Olsen.
